Amaya Weddle

Amaya Weddle is Chief Product Officer at Bande. She is a creator at heart, and is an inventor listed on over 45 technology patents in the US and internationally. Amaya is a user experience professional and product strategist with a passion for creating technology experiences that transform people’s lives in positive ways. A former college athlete and certified aerobics instructor, Amaya found her perfect niche in the wellness technology space. She has 15 years software industry experience in user experience, research, product marketing and product strategy and most recently worked as Vice President, Research & Product Marketing at Mindbody where she served as an industry spokesperson on tech and industry trends. She holds a BA in Chemistry & Fine Arts from Amherst College, MS in Biochemistry & Ph. D. in Cognitive Science & HCI from UC San Diego.
